Canva vs AdobeSpark: Which Designs Better?

Canva and AdobeSpark (now Adobe Creative Cloud Express) are excellent tools for creating stunning designs on the go. The best part about using these tools is that you don’t have to be a professional to use them.

Both Canva and AdobeSpark have free versions that you can do a lot with but if you want to maximize their functionality, you have to upgrade to premium.

Before you subscribe or renew your subscription to either of them, hear us out. Let’s decide if what you’re paying for is worth it.

Canva vs Adobespark: Pricing

AdobeSpark offers two plans: free and premium. The premium plan costs $9.99 per month. It has great features inaccessible to the free plan users, such as teams, a brand kit, more storage space, auto-image resize, and more.

If you decide to pay for a year upfront, you will be charged $99, which is cheaper than paying $9.99 per month.
Canva Pro is a bit on the high side. It. It costs $12.99 per month and $119.99 if you’re paying annually.

Although Canva is on the high side, its interface is quite easy to use and collaborate with as a team, so it might be worth the extra money.

If you’re designing primarily for social media, Canva’s pro plan is worth the extra dime because of its scheduling feature.

Canva vs Adobespark: Who Has the Best Free Plan?

AdobeSpark’s free plan is great, but as with every free plan, it has its limitations.

The free plan gives you access to thousands of Adobe stock photos, you can also remove image background as well as basic editing. You only have a limited storage of 2GB and no access to advanced editing tools like auto-resize.

This plan is pretty good if you’re not designing anything complicated and also if your photos are in the precise resolutions, which doesn’t happen very often to be honest.

The premium plan makes creating designs for different platforms so much easier. You don’t have to create a single design in multiple resolutions to fit different platforms- you can auto-resize.

Canva’s free plan has more templates than AdobeSpark. It has over 250000 templates, which is quite impressive.

You can create basic designs with Canva and also make basic edits. A fun fact about Canva is that you can still use premium designs even if you’re on the free plan. All you have to do is replace the stock image with yours and just like that you have your design with minimal editing.👌

AdobeSpark’s free plan has an edge over Canva’s because of its ‘remove background ‘ feature. This feature significantly simplifies editing and it’s free on AdobeSpark.

Canva’s free plan has a larger storage space of 5GB while AdobeSpark’s free plan only gives you 2GB.

Canva’s free plan is great because of the size of its cloud storage but AdobeSpark’s free remove background feature simplifies editing.

Another advantage is that Canva free plan allows you to save in different formats, you can’t do that with AdobeSpark free plan.

Canva’s a better option if you need large storage space. However, if you don’t want to deal with stock image backgrounds, Adobespark is the way to go.

Canva Pro vs AdobeSpark Premium: Are You Getting Your Money’s Worth?

Canva premium is a big upgrade over the free version. You’ll go from 5GB of cloud storage space to a whopping 100GB. You’ll also be able to save and share templates with your team.

The Team feature allows you to collaborate with your team in real-time. It’s an awesome feature when you’re dealing with a product because you can sync everyone on the design process. You can also use it for task management.

You can access all the templates and stock photos on AdobeSpark. You can also convert your photos into PDFs, SVG, and other file types on the premium plan. The cloud storage space is the same as Canva Pro‘s: 100GB.

You can also schedule designs to be posted on social media with Canva. This is helpful for content management. You don’t have to manually upload your designs to your social media, all you have to do is sync your social media account, and schedule the design and Canva will do the rest.

AdobeSpark premium is cheaper than Canva Pro but Canva is more functional.

Canva Live

AdopeSpark doesn’t have a match for this feature. The Canva live tool is a video conferencing tool. You can present and communicate with your audience in real-time. This feature is pretty handy when you need to prepare a live demo for your client. You can also use it to get real-time feedback from your audience and effect changes while presenting.

Also, your presentation is very secure, only the people with your six-digit code can join the meeting.
