Pros and Cons of Oppo A78 vs Tecno Spark 10

OS, Chipset, and Processors

Tecno Spark 10 is pre-installed with a higher Android OS version than Oppo A78. It runs on Android 13, which is the latest Operating System (OS) version for Android mobile devices. However, Oppo A78 beats it with a Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 (7 nm) chipset and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

But in terms of CPU speed, Spark 10 is slightly faster.

Both smartphones are available in 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage. However, you can get Oppo A78 with 4GB RAM and the same storage space for a lower price.

Oppo A78’s rear camera is slightly better than the one on Spark 10, even though both smartphones record 1080p videos at 30fps. While Oppo A78 has the standard LED flash, Spark 10 features a dual-LED flash. Its selfie camera also has this feature.

On the other hand, it can be hard to differentiate between their selfie cameras, as they have the same attributes.

Oppo A78 and Tecno Spark 10 run on non-removable Lithium-Ion Polymer (Li-Po) batteries of the same capacity: 5000 mAh. That means they would have almost the same duration.

In contrast, the A78 smartphone would charge faster due to its 33W wired charger. It takes about 30 minutes to charge up to 52% and 67 minutes to charge fully.

Network options

Oppo A78 supports a 5G network, unlike Tecno Spark 10, which only offers GSM/HSPA/LTE network options. But if you prefer a smartphone with super-fast internet, the Oppo smartphone is your best bet.

Final Thoughts!

Oppo A78 and Tecno Spark 10 are among the best mid-range smartphones currently available. They have several attributes of high-end smartphones, such as better battery life, an octa-core CPU, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

But when it comes to performance, Spark 10 is a better option, except if you want to play games on your phone. You’ll also save a few bucks on the Tecno smartphone but won’t get 5G network support.
